Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) accounts for 87% of non-traumatic hemorrhagic strokes.

Treatment is primarily supportive with surgical intervention considered for:
  • large (> 3 cm) cerebellar hemorrhages
  • superficial lobar hemorrhages with imminent deterioration
