Are there MRI findings which suggest idiopathic intracranial hypertension (pseudotumor cerebri)?

Yes:
  • flattening of the posterior sclera
  • distension of perioptic subarachnoid space
  • enhancement (with gadolinium) of the prelaminar optic nerve
  • empty sella
  • intraocular protrusion of the prelaminar optic nerve
  • vertical tortuosity of the orbital optic nerve
