Embedding Powerpoint slides into website using Picasa


Have you ever wanted to post your powerpoint slides onto your blog or website? It's actually easier than you think. You'll need:
  1. Your Powerpoint file
  2. A free Google Picasa account
  3. Your target website or blog
Steps:
  • Within your Powerpoint file, select "Save As..."
  • Save your files in PNG format. This will convert each slide into a PNG image file.
  • From your network browser, open your Picasa account.
  • Upload the individual PNG files into a New Album (see below for example).
  • Select "Embed Slideshow" (bottom right of browser page).
  • A new window will pop up. Choose what size slideshow you want and copy the HTML text provided.
  • Paste the HTML text into your website or blog.
  • This will create a Flash-based slideshow.
