A quick and easy fix for ptosis secondary to presumed myasthenia gravis ...

Put an ice pack on the droopy eye lid for about 2 minutes.  The cold temperature will reduce the action of cholinesterase leading to an increased endplate potential and decreased ptosis, if caused by myasthenia gravis.  This is the poor man's Tensilon test.
