Apparent Life-Threatening Events (ALTEs) can occur in infants up to what age?

A bit of a trick question.

ALTE is not a specific diagnosis but a description of a particular complex of symptoms including a combination of apnea with an associated change in color and tone. Etiologies are diverse and can affect patients from infancy to death, however, the term ALTE is generally reserved for children < 12 months of age.
